The French Fry Gnome

Pete took this shot Saturday night as we sat down to eat one of my favorite Chicago meals: Brats!!! Leah stuck with some leftover beef stew, but she was happy to share in our fries, both sweet potato and regular (we were cleaning out the freezer). We also had some thai slaw which went along with everything nicely.

This shot just brings such a smile to my face. The mischevious look in combination with Daddy's fleece hat, brought to mind a little gnome, a french fry gnome! Can't you just envision Leah now, presiding over her underground lair filled with her secret stash of french fries. The look on her face says it all.

Leah enjoyed her first Neighborhood Super Bowl fiesta yesterday. She especially enjoyed playing with all the kids. Oh, and we discovered she likes cheez doodles a lot! We hope you had a fun weekend too.
