And happy birthday to Auntie K! Uncle Mark's birthday was yesterday. Speaking of yesterday, this picture reflects what a great time we had at the neighborhood Halloween parade. I got a few more shots of Leah in her costume but this one definitely gives the full effect! Don't the little striped tights just make it? Leah enjoyed seeing all of the kids out in costume. She was very quiet with all of the excitement, but she kept her costume on the whole time.
Leah was thrilled to put it on (the flapping wings in the picture sort of give that away). Every day for the past two months she'd go nuts whenever we went to her closet to pick out an outfit. She'd see the costume hanging there and would want to touch it and grab at it. Perhaps we'll put it back on this afternoon for any early trick or treaters that come by.
It might be a little crazy around here, as I'd like to get our already early riser to bed at the normal time. She's been waking up at 4:45-5 am now rather than her usual 5:45-6 am wakeup time thanks to the time change. We're trying to stick to our routine to get her back on track, but it might be tough while handing out candy (we have a very happenin' neighborhood on Halloween night!). We'll see. Have a great Halloween everyone! Be safe and enjoy.
